St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) November 1, 2008 -- Champion4Fitness (C4F), LLC, a pioneer in the personal training and fitness industry, recently announced that it has secured nearly $1 million in funding from equity investors to finance its flagship Lifestyle Performance Center, a state-of-the-art health and wellness facility slated to open in Dallas, TX in early 2009.
The 4,500 square-foot health and fitness center will set a new industry standard by integrating science and technology with fitness and nutrition. The wellness facility will employ an elite team consisting of exercise physiologists and fitness specialists who will use proprietary toolsets in conjunction with the latest technology (e.g., body composition analyzers) to conduct in-depth, preliminary fitness and medical testing and follow up to pinpoint clients' overall health, fitness, and longevity to establish realistic wellness goals.
"It is the Center's detailed 'front-end' testing that will make it unparalleled in the industry," says Margaret May, C4F President and Founder. "Most health and wellness organizations offer only fitness and nutrition counseling. The Lifestyle Performance Center is taking health and wellness a step further by not only offering custom-tailored exercise and nutrition regimens, but also by conducting initial comprehensive body testing to isolate risk and plan for future physical fitness programs. The Center will be more closely aligned with the medical industry than with your typical fitness facility, bridging the gap between science and fitness," she says. "We will offer what traditional fitness clubs don't -- a comprehensive and extensive testing component key to creating customized fitness and nutrition programs."
By incorporating Medical Exercise Servicing concepts and principles the Center's staff of fitness specialists will have detailed knowledge of clients' pre-exercise health risks and medical emergency plans in order to design and establish realistic exercise programs, personal training, and timetables.
May believes that with the three-pronged approach of testing, training and customized nutrition the Lifestyle Performance Center and C4F are poised to become a dominant force in the health and wellness industry.
