The CFC statement went on to praise Romney for not only his unflustered manner but also his vow to restore America to the forefront of international affairs by "fulfilling America’s role as world leader once again." When the topic of the economy arose Romney was quick to make the connection between a strong economy at home and a strong presence overseas. The Champions for Change statement also commended Romney for the comments he made declaring he was a "champion of small businesses and entrepreneurs."
CFC added that they were delighted Romney believes in the same pro-business principles that they support. Along with applauding Romney’s tough stance on Iran, and China, CFC concluded by stating his presidential credentials were on display for all to see, most notably in the manner in which he dealt with President Obama’s attacks in a calm and unflustered manner.
