In an ever-fast paced, perpetually turning world, it can be easy to overlook the millions—the members of the universal family—that find themselves in desperate and bleak circumstances. Sometimes it’s easy to be distracted, sometimes it’s just hard to watch and sometimes there is not enough time or energy for individuals to try to help. But now, with the launch of the new Charlotte non-profit DoingMYPart.com, helping others has never been easier. Doing MY Part will embrace the speed of technology, the spirit of giving and the strength of community to ensure every individual has the opportunity to share the DoingMyPart creed—“Leaving the world better than I found it."

For the past two years, Co-Founders Mike Spencer, Josh Delaney and the Doing My Part team have been focused on constructing an online platform that can not only create a real solution to urgent issues, but also to unite individuals in a way that's never been possible in the past, due to technology.

On Wednesday July 18th, Mike Spencer and key DMP members will introduce this unique opportunity to his hometown Charlotte community and internationally via streaming online video.

“Everyone deserves the chance, at least once in their life, to be a part of a movement,” explained Mike Spencer, Co-Founder. ”DoingMYPart’s responsibility is to provide an easy and fun way to do that. We all are responsible for our own universe, in and outside of ourselves...and taking simple, positive action for a common goal, together, is a great stepping stone to progressing as people."

Light food and drinks will be served, and in attendance will be key members of Charlotte's forward-thinkers, entrepreneurs, the socially conscious, non-profits and future leaders.

Doing MY Part is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing guidance and resources to the everyday heroes in the non-profit world, that fight an increasingly uphill battle to raise funds. Doing MY Part's purpose is to inspire unity in the community by stimulating action, proving real results and creating new heroes everyday.
