Classique Medical Spa is excited to introduce 3D imaging in the new year. This will help patients to visualize potential results during consultations.

I am looking forward to using 3D imaging to help visualize expectations, developing a common understanding with my patients about what they want to accomplish and what our procedures will do for them.

Classique Medical Spa is excited to acquire new, state-of-the-art equipment in the new year. The medical spa will be installing and implementing a VECTRA 3D imaging system from Canfield.

This 3D imaging system will allow patients to view ultra-high resolution, 360-degree, full-color images that simulate contour-enhancing procedures. Classique Medical Spa is making this investment to improve the patient consultation experience.

"I am looking forward to using 3D imaging to help visualize expectations, developing a common understanding with my patients about what they want to accomplish and what our procedures will do for them," said Dr. Cynthia Poulos, the board-certified plastic surgeon at Classique Medical Spa. "By using the most advanced software and systems available, we will streamline our consultation process and provide more accurate images of simulated aesthetic procedures. Patient satisfaction is our top priority."

The VECTRA 3D imaging system has many features that will create more transparent doctor-patient communication as well as increase overall patient satisfaction. The system automatically adjusts to deliver optimal face and body imaging. With an image capture time of between three and four milliseconds, the images are not distorted or blurred from patient movement. Automated measurements help patients understand their current body condition. Gray mode reveals contours in the skin, highlighting areas that would benefit from corrective procedures. The imaging system also uses a color distance map to clearly show patients the degree to which a contour change would enhance their face or body.

Moments after the images are captured, the doctor and patient can use software to superimpose a simulation over the pre-op image. Images can be viewed from multiple angles with overlaying and comparison options.

Dr. Poulos and her team at Classique Medical Spa are confident that the implementation of the VECTRA 3D imaging system will improve the quality of care that they are able to provide. Across the industry, 3D imaging is a seen as a useful tool that helps the patient and plastic surgeon arrive at a mutual understanding of surgical goals. Patients get to observe what the outcomes of a procedure will look like on their bodies, and this results in increased patient confidence and security moving forward.
