ClearAccess is pleased to announce that Fred Lawrence has joined the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Lawrence has been building teams and guiding companies to success in the telecommunications and technology markets for nearly 40 years, and is currently a partner at RSquared Associates
Lawrence has held prominent positions at a number of market-leading technology companies. He was President of United Telephone of Florida for Sprint Corp. and was instrumental in building Sprint’s $3.5 billion global fiber network. He later held executive and CEO positions at market leading companies such as ADC Telecommunications, ComStream Corp., and California Microwave. Lawrence’s arrival increased technical innovation and delivered billions in revenue growth at these companies.
Lawrence joins ClearAccess as it accelerates its service provider customer base for its ClearVision Managed Applications Platform. The platform now includes the new Intelligent PipeTM suite of applications, which allows operators to analyze and enhance the applications consumers use over the Internet as a means of driving new subscriber revenue.
“Based on my experience, I see an opportunity to build upon the Company’s early market leadership with solutions which help telcos and cable operators add profitable new revenue streams,” said Lawrence. “ClearAccess delivers a transformational solution that is helping service providers minimize subscriber churn and increase their revenues.”
“We are thrilled to have Fred on board as Chairman. With his market savvy, strategic acuity, and industry relationships, Fred will be a key asset for the Company as we expand our market channels and deepen our connected home consumer offerings,” said Ken Hood, CEO of ClearAccess.
In addition to Lawrence, the ClearAccess board of directors includes Andy Dale of Montlake Capital, Jim Schraith of DFJ Frontier, Craig Gunther of Blade Ventures, and Ken Hood of ClearAccess.
