Bangalore is the Silicon Valley of India, and offers immense talent. Having a dev and support center here allows us to tap into this talent pool.
Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) November 20, 2013
Collaaj, Inc., a Silicon Valley company that enriches business productivity with videos for enterprise, announced the opening of its development center in Bangalore, India, the “Silicon Valley of India.” The Bangalore center will primarily be an engineering center, with focus on product development. It will also provide customer support and other services, especially to serve customers based in AsiaPac because it’s in the same time zone.
Collaaj Co-founder and Product Architect Aditya Kadambi, an imaging and video expert with a Masters from University of Florida and 10+ years of experience in imaging and video in New Jersey, USA, has now relocated to the Bangalore center. He will be growing and managing the India center, which will focus on developing more products for businesses and educators.
“We've already hired some world class talent in Bangalore, comprising senior architects from top tier companies like HP as well as graduates from top tier colleges in the U.S. that have returned to India after working in the U.S. for several years,” Kadambi said.
Kadambi believes that in this day and age, it is extremely important for Silicon Valley companies to augment their talent by hiring not just in the United States, but also outside of the country, in places where top talent is available. “Bangalore is the Silicon Valley of India, and offers immense talent. Having a dev and support center here allows us to tap into this talent pool,” he says. “And because of the 12-hour time difference with Silicon Valley, it also enables us to offer around-the-clock services, which are essential for customers with global presence as well as those based in AsiaPac.”
