International Award Recognizes Genèse For Significant Contributions to Colligo's Success

The 2008 Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners, and the organizations they run. The awards are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards.
Stevie Awards were handed out at the gala event at New York's Marriott Marquis Hotel on November 14. More than 1,200 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. Genèse was selected from four senior executives including finalists from Canada Post, SMART Technologies, and Strangeloop Networks.
Genèse contributed to a significant turnaround at Colligo Networks. She was hired to lead marketing in July 2006, shortly after the launch of a new product line. She quickly executed highly effective campaigns that earned significant industry recognition - with awards such as "2008 Best of Tech Ed" and "Windows IT Pro Editors Best" - and increased the marketing database from 3,000 to 30,000 contacts. Genèse also established the company's inside sales team, achieving 238% year-over-year revenue growth and surpassing sales quota by 124%. Colligo is now profitable and growing over 100% per year, due in large part to Genèse's dedication and drive.
