CompTIA, the leading trade association for the information technology (IT) industry, today introduced the CompTIA Authorized Partner Program, a new cohesive, managed channel for all CompTIA learning products and services including its portfolio of vendor-neutral certifications for IT professionals.
“We work closely with our partners around the world to help IT professionals advance their knowledge, skills and career credentials in order to raise on-the-job performance levels,” said Terry Erdle, senior vice president, skills certification, CompTIA. “With the introduction of this program, CompTIA is expanding its commitment by adding substantial resources and working collaboratively with our partners to increase market impact and customer satisfaction.”
The CompTIA Authorized Partner Program is designed to help CompTIA business partners grow their business by recognizing them as leaders in their field through powerful sales and marketing tools, increased resources and closer links to businesses seeking training providers.
In its introductory phase the program is targeted at CompTIA delivery partners whose primary focus is on IT training, delivered in classroom, virtual classroom or blended learning environments. To be considered for the program, training providers must:
Program participants will have access to the latest industry research and information in IT industry trends, changes in skills and certification needs of employers and employment data.
CompTIA also will establish a marketing development fund program to assist partners with marketing initiatives related to CompTIA’s 12 certifications as well as the new CompTIA Strata Fundamentals exam series.
Other benefits to participants will include discounts on CompTIA exam vouchers and complimentary exam vouchers for instructors. Courseware from CompTIA Press and CompTIA CAQC providers is also available at discounted prices.
