Concrete Stone Mold Company Opens Free Training and Instructions Website for General Public

Olde World Molds has provided free training and instructions in making stone, pavers, tile and bricks, to their customers for over eighteen years--and now everyone will have access to that free training! In addition to the instructions provided with mold and kit purchases, they’ve put up a new website that includes all of the training articles, tutorials, and instructions written by their president and trainer, John Panagos. Much of this information was included in their $599.00 Training Course. It is the key information provided to entrepreneurs wanting to learn the business of concrete stone, paver and tile manufacturing--also referred to as Manufactured Stone.

According to the President of the company, John McKenzie Panagos, “we’ve been providing articles and answers to questions about manufactured concrete stone, pavers, and tile to the general public for a number of years anyway--so why not open up our Training and Instructions website as well? Doing so will help lighten the load on our Customer Service personnel, and can only help expand our customer base. The website can introduce homeowners and do-it-yourselfers to the fact that they can now make their own concrete products for about 10% of what they’ve been buying them for at retailers and distributors.”

Olde World Molds designs and manufactures molds, or moulds, used with concrete, cement, and plaster to make manufactured stone and brick veneer, and many other stone products. These are normally used around the home and garden by builders, contractors, and landscapers to replace high-cost, heavy natural stone. And now, thanks to companies like Olde World, molds and free instructions are now readily available to the entrepreneur, do it yourselfer, and crafts person. According to Panagos, “our step-by-step instructions, and our training website, make it so easy to create authentic-looking stone that virtually anyone can make it! Interestingly, our most recent marketing research identified women visitors to our websites as accounting for over 55% of our customer base. Maybe part of the reason for that is our contention that making stone is easier than baking a cake--but no oven is needed for stone? Or maybe it’s that women are just naturally more creative and willing to try things.”

This small Florida-based company currently offers hundreds of concrete stone molds on their Product Catalogue website. And they add new designs and sizes on a regular basis. Most recently, the company introduced a line of what they refer to as, Complete DIY Project Kits. These were designed for the do it yourselfer who wanted everything needed for their project in one package. “We kept getting phone calls and email orders from our customers who had just received their mold orders, wanting concrete color, sealer or other supplies. It just made sense to start offering Complete DIY Project Kits. This way they can start making stone, pavers, brick or tile the day their Kit arrived,” Said Panagos.

When asked what was covered on the new training and instructions website, Mr. Panagos said, “we’ve got articles and instructions on everything from concrete mix designs to finishing techniques to installing the products. Every time we receive a question that has not been covered on the instructions website, we answer the customer directly, then usually schedule it for either an article or tutorial to be added to the site. We also add the information to the training manuals that are part of our basic Business Start-up Training Course so that is kept up to date.

According to Panagos, their manufactured stone instructions website is a work in progress. It is ever evolving and offering additional information about concrete use, man-made or faux stone, applications and installations. It is an information source with a wealth of photos for their customers as well. And now anyone who needs information about using stone veneer molds or starting a stone business can go to their Training and Instructions website.
