Recognition like this causes you to pause, reflect and realize how far you've come.
Mason, Ohio (PRWEB) July 13, 2012
ConnXus.com Founder and CEO Rod Robinson was recognized as one of the inaugural E.D.G.E. Awards as part of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2012 program in the South Central Ohio and Kentucky region. The recognition identifies emerging Entrepreneurs that are Delivering, Growing and Executing on new and innovative products and services (who do not yet qualify for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award). Nominees for this new award were owners or managers of private or public companies (less than five years old) that have successfully taken a product or service to market resulting in positive revenues.
“Being an entrepreneur means spending all of your time with your head down, constantly focused on serving your customers, finding new customers, and growing your business,” said Robinson. “Recognition like this forces you to pause, reflect and realize how far you’ve come. In the past two years, ConnXus has gone from a concept to a community of more than 100 corporate buyer members, more than 1000 diverse supplier members and more than $100 million in contract opportunities posted. I am deeply honored to receive the first E.D.G.E. Award and to be considered among the many successful businesspeople recognized by Ernst & Young.”
