Updates to ContractExpress Author, the Microsoft Word 2007/2010 add-in that enables automated legal content to be developed and maintained by legal subject matter experts and KM specialists without the use of programmers, provide enhanced options for uploading templates to different ContractExpress sites both within the organization and in the Cloud.

Updates to ContractExpress for SharePoint enhance the already impressive configurability and flexibility of the product to provide new options for automatically routing legal approval workflows to the appropriate attorney and/or paralegal in large and diverse legal departments, all driven by the business users’ answers.
Updates to ContractExpress.com, Business Integrity’s implementation of ContractExpress in the Cloud, provides more options for law firms to set up branded client facing document assembly sites.

Updates to the ContractExpress technical architecture have resulted in many improvements. Microsoft Web Platform installer can be used to install prerequisites with a few simple clicks. .NET 4.0 provides a faster and more reliable framework, directly affecting the speed of ContractExpress. ContractExpress has been streamlined to no longer depend on COM+ and NT services. Further, ClickOnce technology means that deployment of Author is a simpler web-based process, the program itself is isolated to not conflict with other Word add-ins, and upgrades are simpler to manage.
