Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) July 28, 2009

The Toronto-based hard rock group, Cooper, is receiving international attention and praise for its recently released debut CD, "Magic Rocks." Released under the label of the group's founder, Paul Cooper, Magic Rocks is available for download or CD purchase at http://www.coopermusic.ca.

Within a week of its release, Cooper had interest in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France. The group is now also in discussion with Japan and Italy.

"Having people literally all over the world take notice within a week is obviously pretty exciting," said Cooper, who in addition to founding the group, serves as drummer, pianist, songwriter and co-producer. "What flattered us the most is that we have had this much attention from the UK, knowing that most of the great rock over time has come from out of England. It is sort of a Mecca for rock historically, and for them to take notice of us is a great compliment," Cooper added.

The nine-track CD is a collection of radio friendly rock songs made with crystal clear production. "Nowadays, some music is just created on a computer and nobody plays any instruments. Magic Rocks is very organic," noted Cooper.

None of the musicians, excluding the drummer, had heard the songs prior to recording in order to capture inspired performances. Adding to the band's dedication to creating timeless rock music is the skill and talent of everyone involved in the album. For instance, the track "Drummers Paradise" features 132 drum tracks mixed down to just over two minutes.

The CD is now available through Cooper Music (coopermusic.ca). The full CD can be purchased for $10 or downloaded as an MP3 for $9.99. Individual tracks are also available for $0.99.
