Corel Corporation today announced the introduction of a free update for Corel® VideoStudio® Pro X3. This new update builds on the established strengths of VideoStudio Pro X3 in speed and creative effects, adding high-speed GPU- and multicore acceleration for video color correction, plus extended support for MPEG4 cameras. Customers also receive Corel® DVD Movie Factory™ 7 SE for advanced DVD authoring and burning, now fully integrated and accessible from Corel VideoStudio Pro X3.

Highlights of the new capabilities introduced in this update:

•     New! High Speed Color Correction – New multicore- and GPU-optimized color correction tools provide VideoStudio Pro X3 with a new engine that adjusts and enhances color in real time. Color correction can now be done at speeds previously expected from only professional tools;
•     New! Fully Integrated Advanced DVD Authoring with DVD MovieFactory™ Pro 7 SE – Now directly accessible from Corel VideoStudio Pro X3, DVD MovieFactory™ 7 SE provides more advanced DVD authoring for customers seeking more power than DVD Factory Pro 2010; both burning applications are free with Corel Videostudio Pro X3;
•     Updated Camera Support – Broadened MPEG4 capabilities add support for additional cameras including select models from Flip, Canon and more.
