As part of its mission to deliver Rewards for Life's Journey®, Stage of Life LLC announced its Coupon API solution has been updated to segment coupon content by offer richness for US consumers participating in its B2B clients' affinity programs.

The new categorization of offers in the API includes the new coupon segmentation starting with offers valued from less than 5% off to offers valued to +30% off.

"We had a request from a new client to create this categorization, and in doing so, strengthened the entire API offering we bring to the table."

The process of updating the Coupon API involved going into the Stage of Life Merchant Network offer database to tag over 250 national participating merchant offers, coupons, and discounts with a richness level ranging between 5% off and +30%.

The new sorting tags provide more flexibility in creating the custom loyalty solutions for affinity programs looking for specific offer details for their employees, cardholders, or customers.

Stage of Life's Coupon API now contains over 60 tags that allow its clients to sort and deliver the merchant offers by life stage (discounts for teenagers verses discounts for homeowners, etc.), gender (offers for men or women), generation (discounts for Millennials verses Baby Boomer offers, etc.), offers by merchant category (travel, small business, apparel, dining, tickets, etc.), and now by offer level/richness.

The new tags have been updated in the Coupon API Technical Spec Document, but Thiegs adds, “We can always create and add nearly any custom sorting tags our clients or merchants need to our Coupon API solution."
