The surveys were compiled by member firm lawyers in Lex Mundi Practice Groups and provide valuable information pertinent to jurisdictions around the globe. With the addition of these four new surveys, Lex Mundi’s collection of multi-jurisdictional surveys has grown to ten. The surveys are available for download free of charge on the Lex Mundi web site.

The Criminal Liability of Companies survey was prepared by the Lex Mundi Business Crimes and Compliance Practice Group and provides an overview of some of the key criminal offense laws in each jurisdiction. Topics addressed include the criminal sanctions on a company; the procedural issues in cases of corporate liability; and the criminal liability of companies, directors, and managers.

Our practice group members are continuously compiling resources that they can share to help them in their practices. The Lex Mundi global network of leading, full-service law firms is ideally suited to compile surveys and projects of these kinds with broad geographic coverage.
This survey can be downloaded in its entirety or by jurisdiction at http://www.lexmundi.com/lexmundi/Business_Crimes_Criminal_Liability_Survey.asp.

The Trends for Commercializing Intellectual Property survey was prepared by the Lex Mundi Intellectual Property Practice Group and examines the commercialization and licensing aspects of IP law to determine the degree of uniformity (or lack thereof) across the jurisdictions. Topics highlighted in the survey include protection of IP rights, payment structure for royalties and license fees, and approvals/registration.

The survey can be downloaded in its entirety or by jurisdiction at http://www.lexmundi.com/lexmundi/Commercializing_Intellectual_Property.asp.

The European Union: Accession States Tax Guide was prepared by the Lex Mundi International Tax Practice Group and provides essential information on the tax systems in effect for each new EU member state.

This survey is available for download in its entirety or by jurisdiction at http://www.lexmundi.com/lexmundi/European_Union_Accession_States_Tax_Guide.asp.

The Issues in Real Estate Investment and Finance survey was prepared by the Lex Mundi Real Estate Practice Group and is the first in a series of real estate surveys to be produced by this group. The Investment and Finance survey addresses several topics of interest including national/state restrictions imposed on ownership of real estate, the taxes that are levied in each jurisdiction, and reporting requirements.

The survey is available for download in its entirety or by jurisdiction at http://www.lexmundi.com/lexmundi/Issues_in_Real_Estate_Survey_I.asp.

Carl Anduri, President of Lex Mundi, commented, “Our practice group members are continuously compiling resources that they can share to help them in their practices. The Lex Mundi global network of leading, full-service law firms is ideally suited to compile surveys and projects of these kinds with broad geographic coverage.”
