Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) June 26, 2012
Candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, Tres Holton, visited DTx Inc.’s headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. The goal of his visit was to further understand the challenges faced by local Brevard business & discuss his initiatives that promote job growth/retention in the area. DTx’s VP of Operations Luis Alvarez & VP of Business Development Gene Garofalo conducted a guided tour, which included DTx’s administrative offices, lean manufacturing/production floor, warehouse and the Computer Product Restoration™ (CPR) center. “We are encouraged by Mr. Holton’s focus on developing initiatives to help grow business in his district, education reform, and healthcare. It is critical to have someone who lives in the community representing us.” said Gene Garofalo.
Following the tour, Mr. Holton joined the employees for a luncheon in honor of two students leaving DTx to attend college. Fred and Tony Bourret participated in DTx’s unique Summer Internship Program which provides opportunities for local students to learn more about business and the manufacturing industry. Mr. Holton summarized his tour of DTx by offering: "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs - that is the number one issue I hear from folks around south Brevard, and for good reason. DTx, originally a small, start-up business, has grown in leaps and bounds and typifies the entrepreneurial spirit and talent of the Space Coast. It was an honor to visit with DTx's executive team, meet the awesome workforce, and tour their state-of-the-art facility."
