Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., a national leader in health and wellness, spotlights the Dahn Yoga Center in Ravenna Park, Washington in their newsletter, Dahn Yoga Life. With major plans to heal their local community, manager Hyeran Ihm, and other core members share LifeParticles and Dahn Yoga principles with practitioners.
In the March 2013 edition of Dahn Yoga Life, Hyeran Ihm shares her thoughts on Dahn Yoga's benefits for Seasonal Affective Disorder as well as for the stiffness and joint pain that the cold, damp temperatures of Seattle's weather can cause.
Through Dahn Yoga practice, Ihm helps members understand, "If people circulate the energy
of their dahnjons throughout their bodies, which is warmed and charged through Dahn
Yoga, the cold energy leaves them, and their minds become brighter and warmer, too.” For those not familiar with Dahn Yoga, the term, “dahnjon” in this instance refers to an energy point located two inches below the navel within the body.
Ihm’s own warm energy, as manager of the center, has proven quite healing for members of this Dahn Yoga community. The feature article shares stories of several who have experienced the healing powers of LifeParticles with Ihm's guidance. Ihm also explains her use of heated Mago Healing Stones to help members to increase focus on the dahnjon during practice.
