Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., the nation's leader in health and wellness, has placed special significance on meditation during 2012. In addition to supporting the formation of community-based meditation circles, it has introduced simpler meditation methods and tools, including monthly tips and recommendations in its newsletter, Dahn Yoga Life. The articles are also available online for anyone interested in enhancing their practice or in learning more about energy meditation. This month focuses on the benefits of meditation in the evening, especially before going to bed.
Sleep allows us to process complicated information received during the day, recover from fatigue, and allows our bodies to produce bio-energy. So, it’s important that our sleep be deep and unbroken to be of good quality. Evening meditation can help guarantee this by helping the body and mind to release tension, and the further processing of the day’s information and energy. The necessary preparations for evening meditation involve deep breathing, simple stretching and exercises like body tapping. It is also recommended that we relax the body by showering with warm water before stretching and exercises.
Dahn Yoga has made providing high-quality education and life skills to members for over 16 years. In particular, the Dahn Yoga community seeks to inform participants about how best to harness positive energy through meditation techniques that elevate the mind, body and spirit.
