Daily Commute is designed for users who travel to the same locations regularly. The app gathers travel data about these locations, which allows the user to make better decisions, such as, when to walk out the door in the morning to be on time. The release of Daily Commute 2.1 provides new features and statistical information to its users. Daily Commute 2.1 remains true to the fundamental concept behind the app, which allows the user to easily compile useful travel data while adding a robust statistical package. This allows interested users to analyze their data more profoundly.
As part of the more advanced statistical breakdown in Daily Commute 2.1, the user can now choose a host of options to assist them in estimating their travel time. For example, the user may choose the running average for all their travel times, a particular day of the week, or a particular day of the month to generate their predicted travel time. The user can also see their on time percentage to better guage their travel time.
Another useful enhancement allows the user to send ETA text notifications when starting their travel or when they are delayed. This is particularly handy when a user is stuck in traffic and needs to easily notify others as to their delay. This is a highly requested addition that Daily Commute fans have been eagerly awaiting. “My wife and I text each other every day to let one another know when we are leaving and when we will be home. The last thing we want to do is to fumble with our phone when we get in the car. The new text notification system makes this recurring task much easier”, said Bobby Wilson, President of ValleyRocket.com.
Lastly, the latest update includes minor enhancements to its elegant home screen, which now displays the time for the last commute, average commute time, and a percentage of how often the user has arrived on time. These are just a few of the great new features packed in to the latest version of Daily Commute.
