“End of Graves” takes place in and around London, beginning in the eastern borough of Gravesend and journeying all the way to the heart of the city at Trafalgar Square. The story centers around the journey of Oliver, an everyday young man who falls through a portal into the land of the dead.
Desperate and alone, all Oliver wants is to find the gateway back to his world. But deep within the city, an unknown force is amassing a great legion for a dark purpose, and this evil has its own plans for Oliver.
With the help of some unusual traveling companions, Oliver embarks on an epic journey that will bring him face-to-face with what it truly means to be human.
Lloyd describes his book as an “adult fairy tale” that relies on the timeless of theme of good versus evil. “However, following Oliver on his journey I hope will make this more of a personal experience for readers and bring the boundaries of fantasy and reality closer together,” Lloyd writes.
