In his new collectionThe Husbandman” (published by AuthorHouse) author David Rosenfeld writes to preserve individual rights and liberty against tyranny.

“The Husbandman” is a collection of poems and one short story that entertain readers while exploring themes and personages of classic liberalism. The poems are accessible without being simplistic, sophisticated without being pedantic.

An excerpt from “The Husbandman”, from the poem “NonBeliever”:

“Truth burns deep and long and new.
Principles all deadwood hew.
Knowledge heats to forget those who
Will mold and cast their minds.”

Poetry has always been a passion for Rosenfeld. “I learned about poetry by reading, writing, and speaking it,” he says. “The speeches of Winston Churchill and the books of Ludwig von Mises played a role as did the canon of great books of poetry and classical liberalism.”
