Davila’s Pizza, which is synonymous with authentic, homemade pizza in Vero Beach, is proud to announce the grand opening of its new location, scheduled for Saturday, August 15th. The new Davila’s, located at 5240 US Hwy 1, Suite 104, Vero Beach, FL, will host an all-day event with pizza and appetizer specials, as well as free samples of some of its food.

“We are really excited about the new location and the grand-opening event,” said Christian Davila, owner of Davila’s Pizza. “We are timing the event to occur just before the school year begins, so that even the kids are available and parents are able to bring the entire family to our family restaurant.”

Christian, who grew up making pizzas, took a step back from pizzerias a few years ago but always felt in his heart he would return to it. Not only did he return to it, he did so by opening his own restaurants. “It was a step in the right direction,” said Christian. “I set out to create my own version of what a pizzeria should be and came up with Davila’s Pizza, which is not just a pizzeria; it’s me.”

In fact, Davila’s is much more than a pizzeria; it also serves traditional Italian dishes, sandwiches, burgers and desserts. Davila’s is also known for its fresh salads, including raspberry chicken and Greek. Rounding out its Greek fare is Davila’s Greek Stromboli. “It’s a must-try, especially if you love Greek salads and Gyros,” said Christian. “And I’ve been told our bruschetta is ‘out of this world.’”

As for pizza, Davila’s has much to choose from. Its signature pizzas include the “Sono” (Italian for Sean) and the “Sienna,” named after Christian’s son and daughter. The Sono is made with a creamy pesto sauce, grilled and marinated chicken, fresh garlic and fresh tomatoes topped with fresh basil. The Sienna is made with a sundried tomato Alfredo sauce, grilled marinated chicken, fresh broccoli, roasted red peppers, Parmesan cheese and parsley. “They’re both unbelievable and give real meaning to the words ‘specialty pizzas,’” said Christian.
