Deltek Announces Insight 2009 Conference Speakers And Sponsors

(NASDAQ: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused businesses, today announced the lineup of speakers and sponsors for Insight 2009, its annual user conference to be held this year in Orlando, FL from May 12-15. Insight 2009 will feature nearly three full days of educational sessions and full access to Deltek product experts, industry experts and peers. In addition, Insight 2009 will also include a special event - "The Stimulus & Beyond: Navigating the Brave New World" - which is unique in the industry in scope and focus, and was created to give government contractors and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms real answers on what is happening with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to prepare them to win business in this new era of government spending.
The first full day of the conference will feature a keynote address from Kevin Parker, President and CEO of Deltek. The schedule on Wednesday will also include a presentation by Amelia Ruzzo, Vice President of Business and Information Systems at ATK, a Deltek customer and premier aerospace and defense company with more than 19,000 employees worldwide. Ms. Ruzzo will outline how her company has driven enterprise transformation inside ATK using Deltek software. Finally, the general session will conclude with Astronaut and American Hero Jerry Linenger, who will describe his experiences successfully managing a five month mission aboard the Russian Mir space station, one of the most dangerous and dramatic missions in space history.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the "Stimulus & Beyond" event will be occurring in parallel with the Insight 2009 program. The event will include keynote addresses, breakout sessions, expert panels, and networking receptions where attendees will receive the information they need to procure and win new business. The event will give attendees multiple opportunities to network with other companies to explore teaming opportunities and partnering strategies for winning contracts with federal, state and local governments.
