Peters Company - a consultant who helps banks, asset managers, land owners and court-appointed receivers in evaluating distressed property - will be speaking at the ''Good, Bad & the Realty of Distressed Asset Opportunities'' workshop on August 27, 2009 from 8:30am - 11:30am in Santa Ana, Calif.
Hosted by the Building Industry Association of Orange County's (BIA/OC) Asset Opportunity Group, Peters will be part of the ''Exchange Distressed Assets Panel'', which also includes moderator Steve Cameron of Foremost Communities, Robert Mosier of Mosier & Associates, Bill Shopoff of Shopoff Properties Trust and Nancy Tillman of East West Bank. The second panel titled, ''Management of Distressed Assets'' includes moderator Mark Himmelstein of Newmeyer & Dillion, LLP, Dan Buchanan of First American Title, Tim Carlson of Willis Insurance, F. Scott Jackson of Jackson DeMarco Tidus & Peckenpaugh and David Taussig of David Taussig & Associates.
