Every year voice talent anticipate attending the VoiceOver Creative Experience (VOICE), an industry-wide convention open to voice talent of all levels of skill and experience. The purpose of the convention is to share ideas, enhance skills and knowledge and raise awareness to standards and practices in the voiceover industry.
The VOICE convention offers the unique opportunity to rub elbows with voice over experts and learn from their vast industry experience. There are many different programs to choose from presented by these highly skilled professionals, some of the most influential in the voice over world.
Edge Studio owner and director David Goldberg, and Edge Studio voice coach Randye Kaye presented a 2 part program designed to educate voice talent from making critical marketing and performance errors that ultimately could prevent them from acquiring voice over jobs.
They presented two clinics; the first, What You Don’t Know, But Must, where they provided practical ways to evolve with the industry in order to remain relevant. The second clinic, 10 Clues in the Copy, shows voice talent how to decipher a script and determine exactly what the client wants.
Together, these clinics help voice talent optimize their skills and create a presence that will get the attention of voice over directors and casting agents.
