This an annual scholarship offered to a qualified recipient looking to forward his or her career in the field of California city clerk or clerk of the board. Upon the retirement of Denise Pennell, who exemplified the very best in her profession both as a city clerk and clerk of the board in the County of Kern, CA, Questys Solutions named this annual scholarship in her honor. As former president of the California Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Association (CCBSA) and throughout her career, Denise has been a role-model for others in her profession. Over the years, Questys Solutions has been inspired by Pennell in her commitment to service and excellence, not only for those around her, but from her valuable feedback on products that, in turn, have allowed Questys Solutions to develop more innovative and robust agenda management software features for city clerks and clerks of the board.
