London, UK (PRWeb UK/PRWEB ) October 12, 2009 -- In the automotive industry there are a handful of motor shows that are a class above the rest and they give car lovers around the world, an idea of what to expect from their favourite manufacturers over the next year, the Frankfurt Motor Show is one of them. Endsleigh car insurance will reveal three of the most significant new cars to be premiered at the German automotive show this in 2009.

MINI Coupé Concept

The Mini Cooper is, and always has been, a popular little car and its stock may just have risen even more after the showing of the Coupé Concept. It was revealed exactly 50 years after the original Mini was showed to the general public in 1959. The Coupé is a two-seater and is rumoured to be the most agile and dynamic Mini ever built. There is supposedly a crossover model in the works to bring the Coupé to the public and it promises to make quite a splash in the automotive market.

Citroën DS3

This little city runner might just turn out to be one of the cars of the year, not just because of it's incredible styling but also because it is the awakening of a true legend. The original DS was used to by statesmen and it even saved Charles de Gaulle's life in 1962 following an assassination attempt. The French manufacturer wants DS3 owners to personalise their cars so the body, wheels, wheel centres and roofs are all fully customisable and available in a variety of colours. Because of its low CO2 emissions, it will also go some distance to get some environmental rewards from your car insurance provider.

Vauxhall Astra

One of the biggest improvements made to the Astra is its reduce CO2 emissions, which not only makes it more environmentally friendly, but it is also not the ugliest car ever made. Its redesign seems to have worked and with the improvements made to its fuel consumption, it meets all of the very latest Euro 5 emissions standards. So it's not only prettier than the old Astra, but it is also more environmentally friendly, what a result!

So there are three of the most important cars on show in Frankfurt this year according to Endsleigh, not because they do 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds (which they don't), but because of the shift in focus that the individual manufacturers have adhered to, placing a lot of emphasis on being "green". That will also mean that these cars will save you some cash on your cheap car insurance policy because of the environmentally friendly policies their manufacturers have stuck to.
