Cape Town, South Africa (PRWEB) November 1, 2009 -- EC English offers a different Internship Programme in Cape Town, South Africa. A once in a lifetime internship programme is open to students booking English courses in Cape Town.
Students taking a course in Cape Town during 2010, now have the opportunity to become involved in a thoroughly rewarding experience. EC English Language Schools, in conjunction with Volunteer Adventure Corps, is offering a new internship programme established with the football World Cup in mind. 'The Spirit of the Cup' internship programme allows volunteers to act as football coaches and mentors to youths in Cape Town's townships. With a strong focus on football, interns will teach youngsters about the game, the World Cup and help out teaching life skills. Internship roles will be in the areas of Football Coach, Life skills Coach, Match Facilitator, World Cup Educator, and Match Photographer.
'Spirit of the Cup' will give you the opportunity to participate in a 2010 World Cup community football awareness internship in Cape Town. Interns will practice their English language skills and will help giving something back to the youths in a participating township school. The minimum Internship length is 2 weeks. The maximum is 10 weeks. Internships must be combined with an English language course of 20 lessons per week.
EC's head office is ISO quality accredited, has eight years of teaching English in Cape Town and is also a member of the South Africa Youth Travel Confederation (SAYTC formerly ELTASA) guarantying minimum standards of professionalism and quality.
