DoD opens the 2010 Enterprise Architecture Achievement Awards

The Office of the Deputy CIO, Department of Defense in conjunction with the Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI) opens the 2010 DoD Enterprise Architecture Achievement (DEAA) Awards program. The awards program, now in its 3rd year, recognizes significant contributions and achievements in advancing enterprise architecture for the Department of Defense.

The Office of the Deputy CIO, Department of Defense in conjunction with the Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI) opens the 2010 DoD Enterprise Architecture Achievement (DEAA) Awards program. The awards program, now in its 3rd year, recognizes significant contributions and achievements in advancing enterprise architecture for the Department of Defense.

The DEAA awards align with the strategic goals of the Deputy CIO - leading the DoD enterprise to achieve an information advantage for its people and partners. The 2010 winners will be recognized on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas during the 2010 DoD Enterprise Architecture Conference.

In reviewing the program, Mr. Brian Wilczynski, Director Enterprise Architecture and Standards, Office of the Deputy CIO, DoD said, “The quality of work that is exhibited is exceptional. Few outside this community can appreciate the dedication and perseverance required to achieve these results. The ability to overcome resistance to change and achieve objectives is inspiring.”
