Executive National Bank Shines in Current Environment

South Florida community bank continues to grow despite current economic conditions.

Miami, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) May 8, 2009 -- At a time when the nation's largest banks are relying on government funds to relieve the financial strain of toxic assets, some community banks distinguish themselves. Executive National Bank, a community bank based in South Florida, continues to be a bright spot during the current economic crisis.

Executive National Bank followed a strategy and procedures that were once regarded as "too conservative." In light of the crisis facing major financial institutions however, those procedures are now being widely recognized as sound banking practices. As major banks cope with the consequences of imprudent decision making, Executive National Bank continues to grow.

In December, Executive National Bank began an extensive renovation of its headquarters in Kendall. The construction project involves updating the bank's drive-through, offices, and exterior façade. An expansion and update of the bank's lobby, which will feature paintings by local-artist David Schor, is also underway.

"Our goal is to provide customers with 'Executive Treatment," said Executive Vice President Sandy Dube Bell. "The new facilities will provide a comfortable environment in which we can continue to offer first-class service."

The renovation, which will add 1,100 square feet of office space, includes measures to make the thirty-seven year-old building more energy efficient and reduce the bank's impact on the environment.

ENB also hopes to remind consumers how sweet it is to bank with Executive National through its cheesecake campaign. The campaign, which launched in January, has sent the bank's officers throughout the area delivering complimentary cheesecakes to local professionals.

"We design products and services that, with our team of experienced bankers, make banking a piece of cake," said Andrea Tyrell Grant, Senior Vice President and Commercial Treasury Relationship Manager at Executive National Bank. "The cheesecake campaign creates new opportunities for us to engage the community and increase awareness."

Four months into the campaign, the bank's officers have delivered over 800 cheesecakes to businesses in Aventura and South Miami.

Executive National Bank is a privately-owned financial institution that offers a full range of banking services. Headquartered in Miami, Executive National Bank has been proudly serving South Florida since 1972.
