The discussion centered around the perception of success. "One of the problems I think we've created is we've become so success-oriented, so results-oriented, that we've turned a blind eye...we need to look at some of these things, not just what are the results, but what goes in to making these results," Thomas said.
Thomas also discussed his work with hundreds of leaders around the world and have found their biggest challenge is pressure for results from bosses, shareholders, etc. Thomas challenged that the definition of results needs to be redefined.
