Kristian Krempel, Founder of FX MARKETING GROUP, a sports and entertainment consulting firm, plans to tie-in existing Hollywood relationships to promote and attract entertainment related industries, while creating long-term opportunities for the community.
As a two-term board member for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the Florida Chapter, Mr. Krempel will use his position as the only outside party to officially represent both the Recording Academy (GRAMMYS) and Television Academy (EMMYS) to the consumer markets. His firm will lend support to the Tampa Hillsborough Film and Digital Media Commission in an effort to expand the Tampa/Hillsborough presence in the Film and Music industry. “There are clear synergies between our organizations,” said Mr. Krempel. “I feel the time is right to establish Tampa as a Recording & Creative Arts destination.”
This past weekend, Mr. Krempel and his wife, Angela, attended the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards with special guest and 3-time Grammy Nominee, Ravi Hutheesing of the Ghandi-Nehru family. “With the 2014 International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards slated to host in Tampa,” Krempel went on to say, “The announcement seemed instrumental in bridging the world between Hollywood and Bollywood.” Media coverage of their attendance was extended to Star TV, India West and India Journal for maximum global exposure of this initiative.
