Pittsburgh, PA (Vocus/PRWEB) December 15, 2010
FastTrack airport parking at Pittsburgh International Airport will officially transition to The Parking Spot on December 16. The Parking Spot at PIT is part of a near-airport parking network that stretches from both coasts, and includes 69,000 parking spaces in 43 facilities at 25 airports across the country.
“While FastTrack has a loyal following among Pittsburgh travelers, we’re excited about welcoming thousands of guests to a new level of service and convenience at The Parking Spot that is unmatched in our industry,” said Mark P. Wildman, Senior Vice President of Marketing for The Parking Spot. “We’ve developed a hospitality-driven brand and culture that we believe we can successfully infuse into the operating dynamics of the FastTrack facility here in Pittsburgh and around the country.”
In June, as part of a deal to acquire the near-airport parking facilities formerly belonging to Parking Company of America Airports (PCAA), The Parking Spot took over management of the AviStar, FastTrack and Sky/Park brands. Since the acquisition, The Parking Spot has begun upgrading the technology and infrastructure at these facilities to be on par with The Parking Spot’s existing locations.
At The Parking Spot Pittsburgh, guests will ride to and from the airport in the company’s distinctive yellow and black spotted shuttles, which pick up guests at their vehicle and run continuously to the airport. Shuttle drivers offer complimentary luggage assistance on their departure and return. Additionally, guests are provided with a complimentary newspaper upon arrival and chilled bottled water at exit and may also join the Spot Club™, the industry’s most flexible airport parking rewards program that offers free parking with as few as seven paid days.
The Parking Spot Pittsburgh will accept reservations via their website at http://www.TheParkingSpot.com and in an effort to lessen traveler’s parking costs, will no longer sell parking via third-party travel reservation websites.
“The Parking Spot brand is devoted to hospitality and consumer satisfaction,” said Wildman. “Guests will always find our best deals on our website, http://www.TheParkingSpot.com. Guests never have to pre-pay for parking at The Parking Spot, ensuring that they pay only for the parking that they actually use.”
The Parking Spot Pittsburgh is located on the existing FastTrack property at 701 Flaugherty Run Road in Coraopolis, PA. For directions, reservations and more information, visit http://www.TheParkingSpot.com.
