Sometimes a single line from a movie can spread like wildfire in popular culture. Whether it’s the famous line “There’s no place like home,” uttered by Dorothy (Judie Garland) in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ or “You can’t handle the truth” stated by Col. Jessep (Jack Nicholson) in ‘A Few Good Men,’ movie fans often have a catch phrase they find themselves using often.
To celebrate the movie catch phrases film fans treasure most, Filmbuffet, recently kicked off a movie catch phrase contest. The contest is currently underway and runs until 11:59 pm ET on July 27, 2012. Movie fans are invited to share their favorite movie catch phrase on the Filmbuffet Facebook Contest Page. Then movies fans are encouraged to share and vote for their favorite phrase. The individual with the movie catch phrase receiving the most votes wins a $50 Fandango Gift Card.
In addition to participating in the Movie Catch Phrase Contest, movie fans are also encouraged to visit Filmbuffet.
