Minneapolis (PRWEB) August 02, 2012
AT&T has partnered with FinderCodes, LLC to launch its patent-pending, electronic lost and found system for consumers.
The AT&T-branded FinderCodes kits, available in seven different product lines, blend scannable QR codes, smartphones, the Internet and durable identification tags to enable a quick, secure and hassle-free return of lost valuables, including pets, electronics, sports equipment and more.
The FinderCodes Home Kit debuts as a featured product on the QVC® program, Bright Ideas with Albany, on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 1-3 p.m., EST. Timed for back-to-school shopping, the Home Kit – which includes tags for use on personal electronics, backpacks, and sporting equipment – will also be available for purchase at http://www.qvc.com as of Aug. 7. Mass retail launch of all product lines is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2012.
“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with AT&T to bring this innovative and incredibly useful product to consumers,” said Blake Sohn, President of FinderCodes, LLC. “We’re confident that the strength and support of the AT&T brand combined with this unique product offering will make FinderCodes a winner on store shelves and in homes across the US and Canada.”
In addition to the Home Kit, FinderCodes kits are available in the following lines: Pet Owner, Electronics, Traveler, Kids, School and Babies. Kits are comprised of a series of tags, each containing a unique QR code that consumers register from a Smartphone or on the FinderCodes website. When a finder scans the code of a lost item, the owner is instantly notified. Contact information is hidden (similar to the Craig’s List® interface) until each party is ready to share it as needed for the return of the item.
