Clint Watson, the founder of FineArtStudioOnline (FASO), a company which specializes in creating elegant, yet functional websites for artists, is announcing the release of yet another tool to keep visual artists ahead of the curve.
"The core belief of FASO and of the more than 5,700 artist members who share our vision is, simply, that 'Sharing Art Enriches Life'(sm). Today we put further meaning to those words by launching our Daily Art Show product and opening our audience of more than 26,000 art lovers to all of our members. Simply put, you can now put your art in front of 26,223 known art aficionados tomorrow, for free, even if you're not a current FASO member. All you have to do is sign up for a free trial account and upload your art," says Watson, a self-proclaimed art fanatic.
This new feature was quietly rolled out, tested, and refined starting three months ago. So of course, all existing FASO already benefit daily from Daily Art Show.
Watson goes on to say, "While many online artist website providers continue to try to 'wow' artists with a confusing maze of unnecessary technical features, we believe that more features means more complexity. And it's our firm belief that artists need more quality and less complexity in their lives. We don't want to give you an endless list of buttons to push, and checkboxes to check, we want you to put your art in front of people -- it enriches their lives -- and yours."
While many artist website providers continue to boast how highly they rank in search engines, or how much traffic their websites receive, FASO strives to share art with people who matter. These 26,223 art lovers consist of subscribers to FASO's various email newsletters: FineArtViews, InformedCollector, and BrushBuzz. Each day FASO compiles new artwork loaded into their network and creates a virtual daily art show of new artworks. This daily art show is featured in each of those newsletters.
Watson says he drew upon his 16 years of experience as a gallery operator while conceptualizing and designing the Daily Art Show program. "I wanted our solution to be something that really works. I sold art for 16 years, I'm an art collector myself, my friends are art collectors. I know how people buy art. And they don't buy it buy typing 'contemporary art' into a search box. Why then, do some providers of online services for artists continue to stress how highly they rank in search engines, or how much traffic their websites receive? What difference does that make to your art career?"
The Daily Art Show program is currently reaching 26,223 email subscribers daily. These people can view the new artwork directly in their inbox. The Daily Art Show page is receiving approximately 500 visitors a day with virtually all of those people clicking through to the Artist's individual portfolios.
"I was just checking my FASO site today and noticed new visitors from your "daily art show". Thanks, very pleased to see that my work is getting put out there." – Charles G. Smith, artist.
A San Antonio-based company, FineArtStudioOnline has been supplying artists with the tools to sell art online for the past decade. FASO has made a tradition of keeping artists abreast of emerging technologies, as evidenced by its timely integration of Facebook, blogging, email newsletters, SEO-friendly web design, mobile-ready websites for artists and now, the automatic sharing of members' art.
