Fiona Apple is extending her sold out spring tour and making a stop at DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center on September 27, 2012. Not only does this mark her first outing in five years, it also marks the release of The Idler Wheel (June 19, Clean Slate/Epic Records) her first album in seven years.

Singer-songwriter Apple, known for her bluesy-sultry voice and her unsettling beauty made her debut at age 19 with 1996’s triple platinum Tidal. The following year she was named Rolling Stone's Artist of the Year and in 1998 she won a GRAMMY for “Criminal”. When the Pawn… followed in 1999 and Extraordinary Machine debuted in the Top 10 of The Billboard in 2005.
