The NCAA is auctioning the featured "net cutting" scissors from the winning Final Four men's and women's championship games to benefit the Special Olympics athletes. Each pair of custom orange-handled Fiskars® scissors has gold titanium blades etched with "NCAA® Final Four®2009." One pair has been autographed by North Carolina Tar Heels coach, Roy Williams, and the other by University of Connecticut coach, Geno Auriemma. The auction will begin the begin Friday, May 1 and run for 10 days, ending Monday, May 11 at 9:00 pm EST. Winners will be announced on the site Monday, May 11, 2009. The best part is that all the proceeds will go to Special Olympics!
