Southlake, TX (PRWEB) January 6, 2011

Keller, Flower Mound and Trophy Club, TX, are getting extra attention from Berkey’s Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., as the fast-growing company continues to expand its Dallas-Fort Worth service area. Berkey’s larger geographical market resulted in a 30 percent increase in staffing and the company’s third consecutive year of double-digit financial growth in 2010.

Berkey’s president Bill Stevens said the growth is the result of the company’s long-term planning, sound hiring, strong marketing and outstanding customer service.

“This is our third consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth, and that has happened in some of the most difficult economic times since the 1930s,” Stevens said. “We focus first on hiring great people and providing the best training available. We take care of our associates, they take care of our clients, and that results in more business.”

Increased Community Outreach

One of Berkey’s strategic staff additions in the second half of 2010 was full-time Community Relations manager, Sandra Baber-Sandefur. Her experience as former president of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce has helped the company focus its activities through support of selected organizations and causes.

Baber-Sandefur immediately increased Berkey’s participation in DFW-area chambers of commerce. The company now is active in Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, Flower Mound and the Northwest Metroport (which includes Trophy Club, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke, Northlake and Westlake) chambers.

Berkey’s extended its support of the Carroll Independent School District as a title sponsor of the new Southlake Carroll Dragon Stadium scoreboard and became a sponsor of the GRACE Gala, the annual fundraiser for Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange, a highly regarded Northeast Tarrant County family service organization.

Baber-Sandefur said increased activities in Flower Mound, Keller, Trophy Club and other neighboring communities is part of the foundation Berkey’s is building for several new community-based programs and sponsorships in 2011.

“Berkey’s has been part of the community here for 35 years, and we have grown as the area has matured,” she said. “We find it very exciting to get more involved, to help at the local community level, where it matters most.”
