Recognizing the importance of the eAgent agency management platform, Fonality announced the upcoming release of “click-to-dial” capabilities in all modern web browsers. A user can now click on any phone number in eAgent to initiate a phone call on their Fonality business phone. Misdials and wrong numbers are minimized and time wasted on outbound dialing is eliminated. This functionality is in addition to automated screen pops. Screen pops allow a user of Fonality and eAgent to automatically view a customer’s data when an incoming call is received from a number matching an eAgent record, allowing insurance agents to provide fast, personal service. Now placing and receiving phone calls are more efficient than ever before. The solution is available for Mac and Windows and works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

The company also announced upcoming support for paper fax machines over internet connections. “The paper fax machine is not yet a thing of the past. In fact, paper agreements are still are a requirement of some underwriters,” explained Scult. “The Fonality solution for paper fax machines eliminates the need for a dedicated telephone line, reducing the costs associated with faxing and reducing the need to scan documents. Of course, for those that prefer removing the machine all together, we also offer paperless fax.”

Unlike paper fax machine adapters from competitors, Fonality’s solution uses a “store and send” system to allow flawless, error-free delivery over standard internet connections. Other solutions rely on running a real-time protocol without the benefit of caching, which results in extra delays, lost pages, and failed transmissions over the internet.
