Rochester, Mich. (PRWEB) May 12, 2009 -- Dr. L. Todd Thomas, premier coach in global leadership development, president of IMPACT Consulting and Development, LLC., has been all over Fox Radio discussing the Chrysler bankruptcy situation. Using his background as the executive responsible for Organizational and Executive Development for DiamlerChrysler Financial Services, Thomas answered radio hosts and listener questions on how bankruptcy will affect the company, what consumers and the business world should expect from the company in the future and what caused the automotive giant's current problems.

Appearing on Fox News Radio 600 KCOL, WDUN News/Talk 550 in North Georgia, WAHS 84, WOWO News Talk Radio in Fort Wayne, Indiana, WSYR 550 Syracuse and News Talk WTVN Columbus, Ohio, Thomas cited a culture of invincibility as one of the reasons for Chrysler's current state.

"One of the things, I think, that Chrysler suffered from is a bit of this 'superhero' complex...In the eighties with Lee Iacocca there really became a culture of 'Throw it at us, we can survive, we can do it.' As a result there was a lack of belief that some of the things that have occurred would really have an impact on them. They were slow in responding to the marketplace...," Thomas said.

"You're going to see a change in the top leadership in Chrysler and I'm not sure that's a bad thing. These guys have cut their teeth in a time and a place that is really no longer where we stand today... I do a lot of writing and work in global leadership and actually the press from Japan called me last week, because they wanted to know about the impact of the Chrysler bankruptcy on the supplier network. I think that's the point, is that it's not so simple that it's going to go away quickly and this is going to be a complicated process."
