Dror and Shlomit Frommer are "Parents of the Year"

(PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- Cheder Chabad of Monsey honors Dror and Shlomit Frommer, of Livingston, NJ, at its 10th Anniversary celebration, with the "Parents of the Year Award," Sunday evening, May 31, 2009.
In September of 1999, 15 nursery school children and two teachers entered a rented pre-school classroom in the basement of a private home. This past September 2008, Cheder Chabad of Monsey entered its tenth year, welcoming almost 300 students to the school, on two separate campuses. It now boasts an acclaimed Early Childhood program, as well as a dual curriculum Elementary School from 1st through 8th Grade. This year the school has the added accomplishment of celebrating the milestone of its first graduating 8th Grade class.
The school's parent body includes families from across the greater Monsey and Spring Valley communities, as well as upstate New York and northern New Jersey, with nearly 90 children of Shluchim (rabbis and emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe) attending the school from throughout the region.
Dror and Shlomit Frommer are the proud parents of Rachel (8th Grade) and Dov (4th Grade) and have been instrumental in the establishment and development of Computer Labs in both the Boy's and Girl's schools. They are there for the school in countless other ways. The school has enjoyed tremendous success and growth due to the dedication of devoted members of the local and greater Jewish community, including parents like the Frommers, who have given generously of their resources to the school.
