This new kind of toy converts high magnetic force fields into thrust motions (kinetic energy), something no vibrator will ever accomplish with its turbine motor

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2013

With more of the same boring vibrators, luxury or not, coming out every month for the last 4 decades, the erotic toy industry was long overdue for paradigm shift or a technological revolution. This season, at last, Fun Factory, the first toy manufacturer to ever make 100% medical grade silicone vibrators back in the 90’s, launched a new technological category of toys called pulsators (video news report here.)

A pulsator looks just like a vibrator, but it behaves completely differently. This new kind of toy converts high magnetic force fields into thrust motions (kinetic energy), something no vibrator will ever accomplish with its turbine motor. Another difference between the two technologies is that pulsators are completely silent whereas vibrators emit sounds.

Fun Factory, at first inspired by NASA experiments, invested 18 months of research and development into perfecting this technology (called Drive or Sonic Technology,) leading to the release of a toy named Stronic Eins, built for vaginal use, and to the creation of Stronic Zwei, built for anal use. According to a news bit aired on the Daily Buzz TV Show February 14th 2013, pulsators are a “revolution”.

The STRONIC was inducted to a Hall of Fame this season with the Museum of Sex in NYC devoting a full widow of its 5th Avenue Shop to this groundbreaking technology. Director of Development and Retail at the Museum of Sex, Daniel Basiletti says: “This technology will change the Sex Toy industry forever.“ During the Stronic launch party at the Museum in February, a humorous viral video was shot showing 2 pulsators racing across a counter top, while a party crowd, including founder of Fun Factory Dirk Bauer, hollers and cheers as Stronics thrust their way to a finish line.

All science aside, STRONIC is also changing our relationship to self-pleasure and the role of technology in our intimate lives. During a series of quality and market tests conducted last winter, Fun Factory surveyed men and women internationally and found that 87% of them prefer a pulsator to a vibrator. Testers reported that the difference between a Stronic and a vibrator is that using the Stronic “is a more emotional experience because the toy takes control and actually thrusts on its own, making love to you, unlike a vibrator, which does not move.”

Emilie Rosanvallon, Director of Marketing at Fun Factory USA says: “The people testing this product reported having more internal orgasms than with vibrators. They also characterized the experience as more ‘real,’ ‘emotional,’ and some said they felt ‘vulnerable in a sexy way.’ That’s because Drive Technology gives the sensation that the toy is alive and taking charge (video instructions here).”

Frederic Walme, CEO of Fun Factory USA says: “creating a toy that makes self-pleasure more emotional is remarkable. Fun Factory is playing fast and loose with American’s preconceptions about pleasure and masturbation, as the company explores how certain technologies elicit more emotionally charged experiences than others. This is truly the dawn of a new era in the field of intimate technologies.”

With Stronic, it seems Fun Factory has a finger on the pulse of American pleasure. Who knows, as their new products break through technological and sexual barriers for lucky men and women around the world, we might just hear a “Stronic boom”.
