ServePath, the parent company behind the GoGrid service, won the Product Excellence Award at LinuxWorld 2007 for best Grid Computing Solution last year. Capitalizing on this experience and honor, ServePath's new flagship Cloud Computing offering, GoGrid, continues to secure its strong position within the Cloud Hosting industry with this new Product Excellence Award.

GoGrid is the Cloud Computing service that enables system administrator users to quickly and easily create, deploy, load balance and manage Linux and Windows cloud servers within seconds. GoGrid offers true "Control in the Cloud™" with its unique web-based, Graphical User Interface (GUI) which allows for "point and click" deployment of complex network infrastructures which may include load balancing and multiple web and database servers, all set up with icons through the graphical user interface.

System Administrators and Developers enjoy GoGrid's REST-like Application Programming Interface (API), which allows for programmatic control of the entire GoGrid infrastructure using clearly documented commands. The GoGrid API provides the ability to create interactive GoGrid management applications and enables the scripting and chaining of various GoGrid commands for automation.

"GoGrid is the future of server delivery," said ServePath CEO John Keagy. "This award is terrific third party validation of the smart, hard work that our development and product teams have put in over the last three years." Keagy went on to say: "Without revealing any secrets, I can assure you that GoGrid will continue to get better and persuade more people to give up their hardware dependent ways of serving data. We continue to add to the GoGrid library of operating systems, server images and applications like Apache, IIS and mySQL. Furthermore our commitment to Linux and Open Source solutions is strong."

GoGrid was an exhibitor at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo 2008 and demoed the award-winning product in booth #900.
