San Diegan Restaurateur Selected by The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute for National Television Commercial on The Food Network

San Diego, CA (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 11, 2009 -- Geordie Moulios, graduate and owner of Cin Cin Simply Italian Restaurant located in Poway, CA. was selected by The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute to be in the new National Food Network Commercial campaign for the culinary program that began airing on national television in September.    Geordie Moulios attended The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute from 2003 - 2006 and opened his restaurant, Cin Cin Simply Italian in November 2006 in Poway, California.

The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute, is North America's largest system of culinary programs offered at over 30 Art Institutes schools. The culinary arts program uses ingredients and techniques from all around the globe. The focus of the culinary program is on preparing students to pursue opportunities in the culinary profession with a broad range of experience and skills.

With hands-on learning and instructors who are real-world practitioners, The International Culinary School provided Geordie with the educational foundation he needed, and helped guide him towards his professional goals."

The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute began the national commercials in September featuring Geordie Moulios on the Food Network. "It is exciting to be a part of a national commercial on The Food Network. It is an honor that I was selected by the International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute. I've always dreamed of owning my own restaurant and the experience and training gained from The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institute-San Diego gave me the knowledge to help make it happen." Said Geordie Moulios.

Cin Cin Simply Italian restaurant is a young and lively atmosphere, Moulios, who is of Italian descent, chose to name his restaurant CinCin (pronounced chin chin) because it means "to your health" or "cheers" in Italian. He decided to serve Italian food for two reasons. It's his favorite cuisine when prepared with fresh, light ingredients, and the restaurant that was in the location before Cin Cin was Italian, too. Cin Cin Simply Italian has won best Italian Restaurant in San Diego for two consecutive years with Ranch and Coast Magazine for 2008 and 2009.

Cin Cin Simply Italian Restaurant offers dishes such as Skirt Steak Sazzini, salads, gourmet pizza, Black Mussels Gnocchi, Osso Bucco, to Tuscan Chicken and fish. The food ingredients from the sauces, soups and doughs are made from scratch daily. "And our plating is top notch," Geordie Moulios said. "It is simple, with a lot of negative space, adding I get to do my passion and my own work - I love what I do."
