In order to securely and accurately record torques, the metrology technology specialist, HBM, is pleased to announce they now provide a sturdy ROBA-DS shaft coupling for their series T40 torque flanges. The shaft coupling compensates for any existing radial, axial or angle offset that may arise when the torque flange is installed. The shaft coupling is characterized by high torsional stiffness and, at the same time, a low mass moment of inertia. As the ROBA-DS shaft coupling is the ideal match for the HBM torque flange, a user can be sure that the torque is correctly applied in the torque flange. An additional logistical advantage is also gained if both the torque flange and matching coupling are purchased together.
