Rockville, Maryland (Vocus) December 18, 2009
In celebration of their 25 years in business, Progressions salon-spa-store in Rockville is hosting a charity event on January 17, 2010. “We can’t think of a better way to celebrate our success than by welcoming our cherished clients and friends, while raising money for a deserving cause,” said Cindy Feldman and Ira Ludwick, co-owners of Progressions. “The evening will include delicious food, sensational music from Julia Nixon, and most importantly, a celebration of community and service.”
Tickets are $25 and will be available in the salon and at http://www.progressions.com . All ticket sales will benefit Children’s Hospital. “We chose an organization that is near and dear to our hearts,” said Feldman. “Children’s Hospital has provided care and comfort to Kirsten, the granddaughter of Cele who has been one of our treasured team members throughout the last 25 years.” Each person who donates will be entered into a drawing for prizes from local businesses, including restaurant gift cards, car detailing services, window cleanings, and product baskets. Donations of door prizes are welcome.
Ira Ludwick and Cindy Feldman opened Progressions in 1984, believing that the time had come for a different kind of hair salon -- one built on five keys to success: commitment to their guests, faith in their employees, a passion for the highest level of customer service, working only with the finest products available, and a dedication to continuing education and personal growth. “We have worked to create an ideal environment for our clients and our employees,” Feldman said. “Customers feel welcome because we are a family. The Progressions of today is exactly what Ira and I envisioned 25 years ago.”
Their unwavering commitment to customer service has earned Progressions a place among the leading salons and learning organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as well as a place in Intercoiffure America. They have also been named to the Salon Today’s Top 200 Salons on several occasions and have been featured in American Salon and Washingtonian magazines. Progressions has supported many charities throughout the years, including Locks of Love, The American Heart Association, Children’s Hospital, and Vidal Sassoon’s Hairdressers Unlocking Hope in New Orleans.
Progressions is located at 12211 Nebel Street (just off Randolph Road) in Rockville. For more information about their services or the charity event, visit http://www.Progressions.com or call 301-231-8757.
