(Vocus/PRWEB ) May 8, 2007 -- Hanala Stadner had difficult parents; as she writes in her new memoir: "Going through the Holocaust made them cranky." My Parents Went Through the Holocaust and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt is Hanala's hilarious, and heart-wrenching story about growing up the child of Holocaust survivors.

The book focuses on Hanala's very rocky relationship with her late mother, a woman so traumatized by her Holocaust experiences in World War II, she was left incapable of nurturing her daughter. Hanala writes: "Hitler spoiled my mother for regular suffering."

Hanala found a formula, not only to heal the past wounds, but to create a mother/daughter relationship to be envied. She shares with her audiences the secret behind her successful relationship with her Holocaust survivor mother.

Hanala, who has appeared on CBS Early Show, Dateline, Leeza and Extra, has a wealth of broadcast experience. She hosted a popular cable-access show in L.A. for many years and has been a frequent guest on radio shows around the country. Warm and wise, she is a testament to the resiliency of the human spirit.
