Seasoned Insurance and Managed Care Senior Executive Joins Connextions Inc. Board of Directors
Kenneth Fasola Brings Sales, General Management Expertise to New Role
Orlando, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 15, 2009 -- Connextions Inc. today announced the appointment of Kenneth J. Fasola to its Board of Directors. Mr. Fasola is a health insurance and managed care senior executive with 25 years of successful experience concentrated in three of the industry's largest organizations: UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
A well-rounded general manager and an expert in sales, marketing and business development, Mr. Fasola has driven profitable organic growth across multiple lines of business while cultivating a national network of agent, broker and consultant relations unmatched in the industry. His experience includes several executive positions for insurance giant UnitedHealth Group, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Secure Horizons, a division of Ovations and the nation's largest Medicare Advantage insurer; CEO of UnitedHealth Group's Central Region; and President of United Healthcare Lines of Business. Mr. Fasola also held several key positions for Humana, having been promoted numerous times throughout his 12-year tenure there. He was Humana's Chief Operations Officer of Market Operations; Senior Vice President for the Office of the Chairman; and Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development.
A graduate of Penn State, Mr. Fasola serves on the Board of Schreyer Honors College there and also on the Board of BenefitMall, Inc.
