According to IBM Smarter Commerce, a Web performance analytics firm for 500 of the largest retail websites, online sales during this year’s Cyber-Monday were up 18% over Cyber Monday 2010. While the leading Content Delivery Network provider, Akamai, reported online traffic up 43% over last year’s Cyber-Monday, indicating that many people were only “window shopping” online.
